Achievement accomplished!
Behavior Associates of Indiana became a 3-year Accredited Center through the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (R) in June 2020. BAI continues to demonstrate the standards determined by an independent third-party evaluator to bring the best quality of care to individuals and families living with autism.
Why become accredited?
Our daily goal is to enhance the life of each client. BAI sought accreditation to ensure we are providing the highest level of therapeutic excellence with integrity to every child and family we serve. The BHCOE (R) is a third-party that performs a site visit and thorough assessment of direct therapy and the interworkings of our services. This site visit includes, but not limited to, evaluation of our direct therapy, staff training, policies, and procedures to measure our work against a set practice standard. This was a measure the BAI Leadership Staff sought out to aid us in achieving our daily goal.
Accreditation Types and what we achieved!
There are three main levels of accreditation types that are earned depending on the percentage of practice standards a center is evaluated to have demonstrated to the BHCOE (R): One-Year (scoring 85-90%), Two-Year (91-95%), or Three-Year (96-100%).
BAI is a proud recepient of a three-year accreditation! Our team satisfied 96%-100% of the accreditation standards. BAI demonstrated our policies and procedures are applied effectively throughout all of our clinic locations.
What’s next…
BAI will continue to adhere to the standards set forth by the BHCOE (R). We participate regularly in Webinar’s and trainings offered through BHCOE (R). We will also be re-evaluated in 2023 to continue our accreditation.
